American Board of Internal Medicine 2004 Examinations
2004 Certification Examination in Nephrology. Registration Period: January 1, 2004 through April 1, 2004; Late Registration Period: April 2, 2004 through June 1, 2004; Examination Date: November 3, 2004. Please note that the Board now offers all of its Subspecialty Certification Examinations annually.
2004 ABIM Recertification Examinations in Internal Medicine, its Subspecialties, and Added Qualifications. The ABIM Recertification Program, which has been renamed the Program for Continuous Professional Development (CPD), consists of an at-home, open-book Self-Evaluation Process (SEP) and an examination that will be administered semiannually in May and November. To register for the examination, Diplomates must be enrolled in the CPD Program and be in at least year 6 of their certification cycle. CPD Examination Administration Dates: May 4, 2004 (Registration Period, December 1, 2003 through March 1, 2004) and November 3, 2004 (Registration Period: June 1, 2004 through September 1, 2004). Please note that physicians can now register for all ABIM certification and recertification examinations via the Board’s web site at www.abim.org (click on Online Services).
4th Annual Genoa Meeting on Hypertension, Diabetes, and Renal Disease
The 4th Genoa Meeting on Hypertension, Diabetes, and Renal Disease will be organized by Giacomo Deferrari, and will be held on February 24–26, 2005, in Genoa, Italy. 10th International Conference on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies
The 10th International Conference on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies will be held at the Hotel del Coronado on March 10–12, 2005, in Coronado (San Diego), California.
This conference is a unique international symposium featuring a forum for multi-disciplinary interactions between physicians, nurses, support personnel, and industry involved in the care of the critically ill patient. Continuing the trend established with the previous conferences, we have an exciting and up-to-date program planned covering the latest developments and research in the field of ICU medicine and CRRT.
