About the Cover

January 2014; Volume 25,Issue 1

Cover image

Immunohistochemical staining of Notch1 intracellular domain (NICD) in the podocytes expressing scrambled miR (upper panels) or miR-30a (lower panels) after TGF-β treatment for 0 (left panels), 12 (middle panels) or 24 (right panels) hours, showing a significant nuclear accumulation of NICD in the podocytes that expressed scrambled miR but not miR-30a after TGF-β treatment. It demonstrates that miR-30a prevents TGF-β-induced Notch1 activation in podocytes. 170X113MM (300 X 300 dpi) Zhihong Liu, Nanjing University School of Medicine
